Sustainability
Honest, and a work in progress
We will be straightforward: we are a young, small label, and we are not going to claim certifications we do not hold or carbon numbers we cannot prove. What we can tell you is how we actually work, and what we are working toward.
What we do today
- Small batches. We produce in limited runs per collection, so we are not left with piles of unsold stock heading to a landfill.
- Made to last. Garment-washed fabrics and reinforced seams — a set you keep for years is the most sustainable one we can make.
- Local production. Our sets are made in Indonesia, which keeps our production shipping distances short and supports local workshops.
- Lean packaging. We pack with the minimum needed to protect the garment, and we are phasing in recycled and recyclable materials.
What we are working toward
- Sourcing certified fabrics (such as OEKO-TEX or organic cotton) as our volumes grow enough to meet supplier minimums.
- Fully plastic-free packaging.
- A repair-friendly approach: spare buttons with every set, and care guidance that extends garment life.
How you can help
Wash cold, wash less, line-dry in the shade. Most of a garment’s footprint after purchase comes from how it is washed — gentle care keeps the fabric soft and the planet happier at the same time.
As we hit these milestones we will update this page — no vague promises, just what is true at the time you read it.
